Hi, I’m Julia! Glad you are here!

My name is Julia Mann and I am the photographer behind Julia Mann Photography. My business was born together with my second daughter. I realized how quickly time goes by and how special each moment is that I wanted to not only capture these moments for my own family but to capture as many families as I can in a fun, unique and heartfelt way.


I am passionate about getting moms in the pictures. We are the glue that holds everything together so we deserve to be seen in the photo memories as well.


When I am not photographing families or editing gorgeous images, you can find me soaking up every crazy minute with my girls or secretly enjoying a chocolate cookie.

Things have been a bit crazy over here lately. And I totally slept on getting a family photographer for us this year. So last weekend I decided it was time to just do it ourselves. I picked out what everyone was supposed to wear and started to round them up. Maternity sessions! It’s capturing the time before everything changes in ways that you can’t possibly imagine. No matter if it’s your first, second, third… When we were in Germany for vacation I had the pleasure of capturing these sweet memories for friends! It was the perfect session with cuddles, tickles, play and oh what a view! What makes it a #newbornphotoshoot vs an #inhomefamilysession ? At what age do you call it one vs the other? I say it doesn’t matter. Photo sessions with babies are always special. No matter if they happen at 2 weeks, 6 weeks or 2 months. And even at 2 month you can still get some sleepy snuggly pictures.
