Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions. Still have more? Please don’t hesitate to reach out here. I’d be happy to answer any of your questions.

What kind of photographer are you?
I am a lifestyle photographer in Long Valley, New Jersey specializing in family, maternity and newborn. My photography could be described as documenting your family in a playful and carefree way. You will be guided through your session, giving you natural prompts that will make you look your best.
Where will my session be at?
Either your home or a location outside that we select together. For outside sessions, I’ll make a suggestion based on the season, the age of your kids.
When should I have my newborn session?
I recommend within the first 2 months.
When should I have my maternity session?
I recommend between 28 to 36 weeks.
What should I wear?
You should be yourself. Wear something that coordinates rather than matching. I have more tips in my welcome guide.
When will I receive my digital images after the session?
You will receive a link to an online gallery within 2 weeks of your session.
What if it rains?
We will reschedule and work out a time that works for both of us.
What time of day is best?
Since I am a natural light photographer the best time of day is golden hour. Which starts 1-2 hours before sunset. We will select the time together with the location.
For in home sessions the late morning is usually best. But it depends on your home’s orientation. We will pick the best time together.
Do you do any extensive photoshop edits?
I will edit your photos for color and style as I see fit and I may remove a blemish or cut here and there. I also will remove people from the background if that is needed. But I will not alter anyone’s body, remove stray hairs, wrinkles, or do any other kind of extensive editing unless specifically asked and I will charge an additional editing fee in that case, as it is not part of my usual process.
Should I get my hair and makeup done?
Although it is not necessary, you will never regret getting your hair and makeup professionally done. If you are going to do your own, matte colors photograph best in natural light. I also love when hair is left down and wavy.
Can we bring our dog?
Of course! We just need to make sure the location we choose allows them, and have a plan for when their time in the spotlight is over. I usually suggest bringing a helper to take them on a walk so your family isn’t distracted.
How do I book a session with you?
